All pharmacists are fully qualified and registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and via the Scheme you will be able to see them without an appointment and sometimes outside surgery opening hours. They will help you decide whether or not you need to see your GP and if you do, then you can go on to make an appointment at our practice. The pharmacist will prescribe medication if necessary and if you are exempt from prescription charges, there will be nothing to pay for that medication.

If you are suffering from one of the minor ailments listed above, visit a Pharmacy First participating chemist, taking with you a form of ID to prove you are registered with HMC, for example your NHS card or call the practice for your NHS number.
